Has ability to hire, fire and discipline. Typically reporting to hospital COO. ### Responsibilities Ensures personnel maintain, operate, test, inspect and perform preventative maintenance checks and repair medical electronic/ hydraulic, pneumatic equipment. Operates patient safety equipment and understands recorded data. Processes all equipment repairs and preventative maintenance checks on all equipment. Submits reports, purchase orders and records. Schedules work assignments. ### Qualifications Education Required: Must have an Associate degree in Biomed/related field or equivalent military training certificate. ### Preferred Bachelor's degree in Biomed or related field. ### Experience Required: 10 years in Biomedical Department. 5 years in supervision.
