[Apply on Tenaga Nasional’s careers site →](https://jobs.tnb.com.my/job/Kuala-Lumpur-Manager-Reporting-&-Tax-WP-K-59200/1369216466/) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Tenaga Nasional](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/tenaga-nasional/) / Manager Reporting & Tax ## Job description Closing Date 28 Februari 2026 Title Manager Reporting & Tax Reporting To Senior Manager (Reporting & Tax) Mission (Sources of Values) - Manage the preparation of statutory financial statements, internal reports, and corporate tax filings in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax laws, and regulatory requirements.​ Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and governance in financial reporting and tax processes, while providing advisory support for strategic decisions and cross-border transactions.​ Accountability & Responsibility - Prepare and review statutory financial statements, management reports, and corporate tax filings in compliance with MFRS, tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.​ Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules for accuracy and completeness.​ Maintain documentation and coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure audit readiness and smooth regulatory reviews.​ Monitor and enhance reporting and tax processes for efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with governance frameworks.​ Track changes in financial reporting standards and tax legislation, assessing impacts on operations, compliance obligations, and strategic decisions.​ Provide accurate financial and tax data in compliance with regulatory requirements and offer advisory support for contracts, procurement decisions, and cross-border transactions to ensure compliance and minimize risks.​ Maintain robust internal controls for reporting and tax compliance, ensuring readiness for audits and regulatory reviews.​ Supervise and guide Executives in day-to-day reporting and tax tasks, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to deadlines, while supporting strategic decisions through tax analysis and cost-effective recommendations. KPIs Timely and accurate submission of statutory financial statements and corporate tax filings.​ Full compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards, tax laws, and internal governance standards.​ Positive audit outcomes with minimal findings and strong internal control effectiveness.​ Quality and reliability of financial and tax data for regulatory submissions and strategic decision-making, including efficiency improvements and risk mitigation. End Products Audited statutory financial statements and management reports.​ Accurate and timely corporate tax filings and compliance reports.​ Advisory papers for contracts, procurement decisions, and cross-border transactions.​ Audit support documentation for reporting and tax compliance.​ Process improvement documentation and compliance dashboards.​ Competencies L1-Vision L2-Business Acumen L3-Engaging Others L4-Self and People Development L5-Accountability L6-Result Orientation F-Financial Analysis F-Audit Skill F-Financial System F-Problem Solving and Decision Making F-Tax Planning F-Regulatory Compliance Education and Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
