[Apply on Tenaga Nasional’s careers site →](https://jobs.tnb.com.my/job/Kuala-Lumpur-Manager-Industry-Intelligence-WP-K-59200/1369217366/) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Tenaga Nasional](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/tenaga-nasional/) / Manager Industry Intelligence ## Job description Closing Date 28 October 2026 Reporting To Senior Manager, Industry Development ​ Mission (Sources of Values) - Support industry development through trend analysis and technology scanning​ Accountability & Responsibility - Provide advice to Single Buyer and relevant stakeholders in matters related to MESI programs and initiatives.​ Analyse market trends and international practices on electricity market structure and its various products such as energy market, capacity market, and ancillary services market​ Perform benchmarking studies with other jurisdictions on various market products and initiatives​ Conduct analysis and provide insight on impact of MESI new programs and initiatives to the industry and customers​ Keep abreast with global advances in market trends and technology revolution, conduct desktop studies and analysis on the suitability for their adoption in the Single Buyer Market.​ Participate as subject matter expert (SME) related to technology in relevant Single Buyer Working Groups and ST initiated task-force team​ Manage quality related matters i.e. process, audit etc.​ Publish technical papers present in local and international forums.​ KPIs Completion of high-quality report and/or recommendation within stipulated time​ Completion of review within stipulated time​ Stakeholder Satisfaction Index (SSI)​ End Products Information deck on MESI for stakeholder engagement and education.​ Relevant analysis or report on market trends, roadmaps and other jurisdictions.​ Relevant analysis or report for new market programs and initiatives​ Technical paper related to MESI.​ Competencies L1-Vision F-Stakeholder Management L2-Business Acumen L3-Engaging Others L4-Self and People Development L5-Accountability L6-Result Orientation F-Technical Report Writing and Presentation F-ESI Management Education and Knowledge - Bachelor’s degree in engineering ### Experience Requirements Minimum - 7 years working experience; with at least - 5 years related experience in ESI.​ Experience dealing with stakeholders, government officers and regulators is an advantage​ Effective technical reports, communication and presentation skills. Past projects/ studies/ published papers related to industry development initiatives is an added advantage​ Demonstrates enthusiasm for conducting desktop research, analysis and good aptitude for mastery of software tools with training eg.
