Translates sourcing objectives into operational plans and ensures monthly performance targets are achieved. ### Position Summary Lead strategic sourcing initiatives that drive material productivity, support new product introduction (NPI), and manage outsourcing/supplier transfer projects. Partner with Procurement, PDE, ME, QE, PM and Operations teams to ensure successful project execution, risk mitigation, supplier readiness, and cost competitiveness. ### Key Responsibilities - Material Productivity Leadership - Lead VA/VE and material productivity initiatives to achieve annual cost reduction targets. - Work with PDE, Engineering and suppliers to identify design optimization, material substitution and cost reduction opportunities. - Build and maintain productivity pipeline and savings tracking. - Support supplier rationalization, localization and dual sourcing strategies. - NPI Project Management - Lead sourcing activities for NPI programs to mass production. - Drive supplier selection, RFQ, quotation analysis, negotiation and sourcing decisions. - Coordinate supplier readiness, tooling development, qualification and launch activities. - Manage project milestones, risks and escalation activities. - Outsourcing & Supplier Transfer Projects - Lead outsourcing, insourcing and supplier migration projects. - Develop project plans covering capacity, quality, cost, tooling and logistics readiness. - Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation. - Drive issue resolution and recovery plans when project risks arise. - Supplier Development & Risk Management - Monitor supplier capacity, quality and delivery performance. - Support supplier capability improvement initiatives. - Identify and mitigate supply chain risks for critical commodities and projects. - Cross-Functional Leadership - Partner with Procurement, PDE, ME, QE, PM, Operations and Supply Chain teams. - Present project status, risks and mitigation plans to management. - Promote best practices and project management standards across DDN plants. What your background should look like ### Preferred Qualifications - 10+ years of Procurement, Sourcing, Engineering or Project Management experience. - Strong experience in NPI, supplier development, outsourcing or manufacturing operations. - Demonstrated success in VA/VE and cost reduction projects. - Experience with stamping, molding, package preferred. - Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. - Fluent English communication.
