This is a high-visibility role with significant exposure to Business Unit and senior leadership, offering an opportunity to help shape the long-term growth agenda, influence strategic investment decisions, and drive key initiatives across the business. Reporting into the Industrial BU Strategy leadership team, this role will play an important part in developing and executing the BU's strategic priorities. The successful candidate will work closely with BU leadership, Finance, Product Management, Sales, and M&A teams to identify growth opportunities, evaluate strategic alternatives, and support long-term value creation. The position provides a strong platform for professional development and progression toward broader strategy and business leadership responsibilities within TE Connectivity. ### Your main tasks Develop deep understanding of the Industrial BU's strategy, market dynamics, competitive positioning, growth ambitions, portfolio priorities, and financial performance. Lead high-impact strategic projects focused on identifying and evaluating new markets, applications, technologies, geographic opportunities, and growth adjacencies. Drive market intelligence and competitive analysis, including market sizing, growth forecasts, industry trends, competitor benchmarking, and assessment of emerging technologies and business models. Support portfolio strategy by evaluating business performance, market attractiveness, competitive positioning, and investment priorities to inform strategic resource allocation. Partner with BU leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans. Support inorganic growth strategy, including acquisition target screening, strategic fit assessment, market and commercial due diligence, and development of M&A roadmaps in partnership with Corporate Development teams. Play a key role in the BU's annual strategic planning process, including long-range planning, strategic business reviews, and development of executive-level strategy presentations. Develop robust business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to evaluate growth opportunities, investment decisions, and strategic alternatives. Synthesize complex market, business, and financial information into clear insights and compelling recommendations for senior leadership. Collaborate effectively across a global, matrixed organization to align stakeholders, drive strategic initiatives, and support execution of key business priorities. ### Your ideal profile The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking, analytical rigor, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex global organization. The role requires an individual who can independently structure and lead strategic analyses while working collaboratively with senior business leaders to translate insights into actionable recommendations. Required Experience and Capabilities 8–12+ years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, business development, portfolio management, or related fields. Demonstrated experience in developing business strategies, evaluating market opportunities, assessing competitive dynamics, and supporting strategic investment decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous business problems, develop fact-based hypotheses, and translate analysis into actionable recommendations. Experience in market sizing, financial modelling, business case development, competitive benchmarking, and strategic planning. Understanding of industrial manufacturing, engineered products, or technology-driven B2B businesses. Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and work effectively with senior stakeholders in a global, matrixed organization. Strong communication and executive presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and persuasive strategic narratives. Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with high levels of complexity and ambiguity. ### Preferred Qualifications Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or in a corporate strategy role within a global industrial or technology company. MBA from a leading business school. Experience supporting M&A transactions, commercial due diligence, portfolio reviews, divestitures, or corporate development initiatives. Exposure to industrial technology markets, automation, connectivity, digitalization, or other high-growth industrial applications. Experience working across multiple geographies and collaborating with global leadership teams. Demonstrated ability to move beyond analysis to support implementation of strategic initiatives and measurable business outcomes.
