## Job description

### Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have
- Designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing computer networks. Key responsibilities include designing network infrastructure, configuring network devices, troubleshooting problems, monitoring performance, and implementing security measures.
- Network professionals also document network configurations, provide technical support, and keep their knowledge updated with evolving technology
- configure network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to meet specific requirements.
- implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security policies, to protect data and systems.
- Network engineers conduct capacity planning to anticipate future network needs and ensure the network can handle increasing demand
- Network professionals provide technical support to users, address their concerns, and offer training on network usage and best practices. Good-to-Have Problem solving skills / CCNA Certified SN Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role 1
- Proven experience as a Data Network Administrator or similar role. 2
- In-depth knowledge of Designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing computer networks 3
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration. 4
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation.
