## Job description

An Information Security Specialist protects an organization's computer networks and sensitive data from cyber threats. They design security policies, monitor systems for irregularities, conduct vulnerability testing, and lead incident response during breaches. They bridge the gap between technical defense and business continuity.

### Core Requirements & Skills

Technical Proficiencies: Knowledge of networking, operating systems (Linux, Windows, UNIX), and security frameworks (NIST, ISO).

### Analytical Thinking

Strong problem-solving abilities to identify threat sources and design effective countermeasures.

### Communication

Ability to explain complex technical security concepts to non-technical management and team members.

### Certifications

Industry-recognized credentials such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly valued
