Experience with both AEM as a Cloud Service and AEM 6.5. Deep understanding of AEM architecture, authoring, publishing, dispatcher, workflows, templates, and components. Strong experience building content-heavy AEM platforms and enterprise digital portals. AEM Development Expertise Java Sling OSGi HTL / Sightly Sling Models Servlets JCR / CRXDE Editable Templates AEM Components AEM Workflows Dispatcher configuration Maven Git Headless & Content Architecture Headless AEM implementation experience. Strong knowledge of: Content Fragments Experience Fragments GraphQL APIs Structured content modelling Content reuse and content governance Experience exposing AEM content to downstream front-end applications. Integration Skills Experience integrating AEM with enterprise platforms, APIs, middleware, and digital applications. Strong REST API design and integration experience. Experience supporting content delivery into Next.js or similar modern front-end frameworks. Understanding of HTML generation and downstream rendering models. ### Preferred Skills Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated enterprise environments. Experience with customer portals, staff portals, content platforms, marketing sites, or authenticated digital journeys. Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG. Experience with design-system-driven AEM component development. Exposure to CI/CD tools and cloud-based deployment models. Experience with observability, logging, monitoring, and production support of AEM platforms. Knowledge of security controls relevant to content platforms and digital banking channels. Typical Deliverables AEM technical solution designs. Reusable AEM components and templates. Content Fragment and Experience Fragment models. Custom workflows for content review and approval. GraphQL and REST API integrations. Dispatcher and caching configurations. CI/CD-ready AEM codebase using Maven and Git. Integration patterns with Next.js front ends. Technical documentation and implementation guidelines. Code reviews, engineering standards, and delivery governance.
