## Job description

### Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Support change management requests required for updates in CMS.
- Prioritize and optimize BOM change requests based on business needs, compliance requirements, and implementation timelines.
- Use PLM/PDM, ERP/MRP, spreadsheet, and database tools to extract, manipulate, analyze, and report BOM data
- Experience in Medical Device industry Roles & Responsibilities

### Role Summary

Own and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) lifecycle for assigned medical device products, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance from concept through production and obsolescence.

### BOM creation and structure
- Develop and maintain hierarchical BOMs, including EBOMs and MBOMs, with accurate part numbers, quantities, units of measure, revisions, and usage notes to support engineering, manufacturing, and service teams.
- Configure and manage BOM data in ERP/ Planning System. Create and maintain data integrity.

### Change control and ECO management
- Lead engineering change orders impacting BOMs by evaluating scope, updating BOM items, coordinating approvals, and updating downstream manufacturing and procurement records.

### Cross-functional coordination
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Material Planning, and Regulatory teams to validate BOM content, assess substitute parts, and resolve discrepancies.
