## Job description

### Role

Record to Report - Associate Skill: Record to Report Experience: 1 years to 5 years Location: TCS Kolkata Shift Timing: UK Shift Eligibility Criteria: ⦁ 0 – 30 days Notice Period Preferred ⦁ Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3) ⦁ Non-technical graduation in finance & accounts stream- B.Com, M.Com or similar ⦁ Should be flexible with 5 Days work from office, night shifts & rotational shifts ⦁ Minimum 2 to 4 year of experience in RTR​ Must Have:

### RTR/ General Ledger
- Experience in Journal preparation & posting, reconciliation, month end close activities & having transition KT management experience, having SAP or JDE working experience, Understanding of Actual and Accrual concepts,Excellent communication Critical thinking, Indirect Taxation Good-to-Have:
- Team collaboration, Documentation and knowledge sharing Responsibilities for Record to Report:
- Perform General and sub

### Ledger/Bank/Inventory/Customer/VAT Reconciliation
- Post journal entries and prepare accruals
- Calculation and preparation of VAT return statement on monthly basis
- Creation of cost element such as WBS/PRN/IO
- Handling high volume during month/quarter/year end with speed and accuracy
- Management of Project Hierarchy Database
- Working as settlement co-ordinator for third party damage claims
- Assisting in month/quarter/year end
- Preparing and analyzing various internal and external reports on daily/monthly/yearly basis
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
- Assisting in process related testing as and when required Qualifications for Record to Report:
- A background in Finance
- Knowledge in Journal entries, reconciliations, General Ledger Accounting and closing activities, VAT
- Proficiency of various MS Office tools
- Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP
- Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
