## Job description

### Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 6–10 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and supporting SAP applications. The candidate should have strong technical expertise in ABAP and exposure to S/4HANA environments.

### Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows
- Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
- Design and develop custom solutions based on functional specifications
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization
- Work on data migration and integration (LSMW, BDC, IDocs, BAPIs, APIs) Support SAP S/4HANA conversion and upgrade projects Debug and resolve technical issues across SAP modules
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to coding standards

### Required Skills

Strong expertise in: Core ABAP programming Data Dictionary (DDIC) objects ALV Reports (Classic & OO ALV) SmartForms / SAP Scripts / Adobe Forms Experience in: Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements) Interfaces (IDocs, RFC, Web Services)

Module Pool Programming Good knowledge of: OOPs ABAP (Object-Oriented Programming)

Performance tuning and debugging techniques Familiarity with: SAP S/4HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, HANA optimized coding) Fiori and OData (basic exposure)

### Preferred Skills

Experience in S/4HANA implementation or migration projects Knowledge of SAP Gateway and UI5 integration Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform / BTP Basic functional knowledge in modules like FI, MM, SD SAP ABAP certification (preferred)
