## Job description

### Role

Transport Management Experience:2-7 years Location: Kolkata Core Responsibilities: Operations Management: Develop and execute employee transportation strategies, including route optimization for efficiency.

### Vendor Management

Monitor vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

### Safety & Compliance

Ensure all vehicles and drivers comply with safety regulations, company policies, and statutory norms.

### Rostering & Scheduling

Coordinate daily transport schedules, shift timings, and ad-hoc booking requests.

### Data Analysis

Use transportation management systems (TMS) or ERPs to analyze metrics, identify bottlenecks, and improve operational performance.

### Issue Resolution

Act as the primary contact for resolving employee complaints, vendor issues, and emergencies.

### Reporting

Prepare reports on transportation costs, utilization rates, and service quality.

### Required Skills and Qualifications

2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or employee transportation services. Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP tools, and MS Excel.

### Soft Skills

Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
