## Job description

### Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using SAP BODS. Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources such as SAP and non-SAP systems. Develop and optimize data integration jobs, workflows, data flows, scripts, and transformations. Ensure data quality, cleansing, validation, and profiling using BODS Data Quality features. Perform data migration activities including data extraction, transformation, and loading for large-scale implementations.

Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies. Collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements. Create technical documentation, job design specifications, and maintain data mapping documents. Implement best practices for ETL design, version control, and deployment. Support production environments, including monitoring, scheduling, and incident resolution.

Lead design discussions, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding standards (for senior roles).

### Required Skills & Qualifications

4–14 years of IT experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BODS. Strong expertise in ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.

### Hands-on experience in SAP BODS components

Data Flows, Workflows, Data Stores Transforms (Query, Script, Data Transfer, Validation, etc.) Batch and Real-time jobs Experience working with SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA, BW) and non-SAP systems. Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, HANA, etc. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs. Knowledge of data migration, data quality tools, and data profiling techniques.

Exposure to job scheduling tools and production support activities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
