# OCI Engineer

## Job description

### Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- 5+ years of experience in integration development, with strong expertise in OIC
- Proven experience with API development and connectivity (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
- Experience integrating with cloud and on-premise applications
- Strong knowledge of web services, adapters, and data mapping
- Familiarity with API gateways and integration patterns
- Good understanding of error handling and logging in integrations
- Experience with Oracle EPM, Ariba, or other Oracle SaaS applications
- Knowledge of IBM webMethods, IBM Sterling, Confluent Kafka, Python, Azure tools or other middleware platforms
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD for integrations
- Strong Communication and Documentation skills

### Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Build and manage REST/SOAP APIs for system-to-system communication
- Develop and maintain API integrations with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, SaaS platforms)
- Handle data transformation, error handling, and orchestration within OIC
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to define integration requirements
- Monitor and optimize performance of integrations and APIs
- Ensure adherence to integration standards, governance, and security best practices Salary Range: $100,000- $120,000 a year TCS Employee Benefits Summary: Discretionary Annual Incentive.
