[Apply on Tata Consultancy Services’s careers site →](https://ibegin.tcsapps.com/candidate/next/en-IN/jobs/425523J) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Tata Consultancy Services](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/tata-consultancy-services/) / Finance Specialist General Ledger Accountant ## Job description ### Role Finance Specialist General Ledger Accountant Finance Specialist - F&A- Non CA Skill: Finance and Accounting, GA, RTR Experience: 5 years to 9 years Job Location: Noida Education: - Minimum - 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3) - Bachelor's in Finance & Accounting or equivalent,B.com,MBA Must Have Skills: - Maintenance of trial balance, collaboration with sub-ledger teams, detailed revenue, cost of revenue, operating expense and balance sheet variance and trend analyses - Accounting and Journal entries for manual adjustments into the general ledger, recording, verifying, and ascertaining correct coding. - Maintain and manage General Ledger & sub-ledger support & adjustments, accruals, prepaid and allocation management - Perform Intercompany accounting and variance resolutions, Payroll accounting, Fixed asset accounting activities as per month end calendar - Supporting the creation, interpretation and implementation of revenue and cost allocation - Processing the Manual adjustments in line with financial controls - Prepare and maintain accurate Balance Sheet reconciliation throughout the month end timetable and clear open item and reconciling variances - Adhere to month, quarter and year-end close calendar timetables ensuring bottlenecks are resolved and escalating issues as appropriate Good-to-Have Skills: - Candidates should have exposure working in Continuous - Process Improvement environment/ team, embed Lean and Six Sigma tools and principles, including identification and implementation of Robotic - Process Automation opportunities and driving improvements to core Oracle R12 and Trintech Cadency Finance systems - Support Business Requirements gathering and User Acceptance Testing of Finance system implementations, including upgrades or changes to those systems - Should have handled teams or experience managing team ### Job Responsibilities - Experience of working in a General Ledger environment, preferably in Oracle ERP. - Experience of accruals bookings and prepayments schedules. - Able to work with complex finance structures and data warehouses. - Advanced Microsoft Excel is essential, Oracle and Trintech Cadency would be an advantage - Analytical, with attention to detail and problem resolution. - Able to communicate clearly with stakeholders. - Flexible / pro-active and responsive to changing business needs and emerging priorities. - Tenacious and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines. - Results orientated iorities. - Results orientated
