# Disputes Analyst

## Job description
- Investigate and adjudicate fraud-related claims including CNP fraud, card-present fraud, account takeover, and unauthorized transactions
- Manage non-fraud dispute types including duplicate transactions, goods/services not received, incorrect amounts, credit not processed, and merchant errors
- Ensure provisional credit decisions are accurate, timely, and policy-compliant
- Identify emerging fraud patterns and escalate trends to fraud prevention stakeholders
- Process chargebacks, representments, and pre-arbitration cases within scheme timeframes
- Solid knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, chargeback rules and reason codes across both fraud and non-fraud categories
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring a team in a banking operations environment
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication for case documentation, customer correspondence, and stakeholder reporting
