## Job description

### Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Primary Skill

AWS Cloud Architect Secondary: Axiom Experience: Minimum 8+ years Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment, planning, design, and execution of application and infrastructure migration from on-premises or existing environments to AWS.
- Define the overall AWS migration roadmap, including discovery, dependency mapping, migration strategy, wave planning, cutover approach, and rollback procedures.
- Recommend appropriate migration patterns such as rehost, replatform, refactor, retire, retain, or repurchase based on application criticality, business value, risk, and technical feasibility.
- Design secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective AWS landing zones and target-state architectures.
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, database, security, network, and business teams to align migration execution with business priorities.
- Provide hands-on guidance for AWS services including compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and security.
- Support automation using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices to enable repeatable and controlled cloud deployments.
- Identify risks, dependencies, performance issues, security gaps, and cost optimization opportunities throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership during migration execution, testing, cutover, post-migration validation, and hypercare support.
