## Job description

### Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with 6–10 years of expertise in SAP system administration, installation, configuration, and support. The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing SAP landscapes and working in S/4HANA environments.

### Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Manage SAP transport management system (TMS) and system refreshes
- Execute client copies, system copies, and database refresh activities Handle SAP upgrades, patching, and kernel updates Support S/4HANA migration and conversion projects
- Monitor and manage background jobs, dumps, logs, and system health
- Work on user administration and role management (basic level)
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and infrastructure teams
- Maintain detailed documentation of BASIS activities

### Required Skills

Strong experience in: SAP BASIS administration and system lifecycle management SAP installations and upgrades Performance monitoring and tuning Hands-on experience with: SAP HANA database administration (basic to intermediate) Transport Management System (TMS)

System copy & refresh procedures Knowledge of: OS/DB (Linux/Unix, Oracle, HANA, etc.)

SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Familiarity with: SAP Fiori administration Security and user management basics

### Preferred Skills

Experience in S/4HANA system conversion/migration Knowledge of High Availability (HA) / Disaster Recovery (DR) setup Exposure to SAP Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) environments Experience with SAP ChaRM / ITSM (Solution Manager) SAP BASIS or HANA certification
