If you are interested in pursuing a rewarding career, we invite you to review our opportunities! ### Job Description Summary Position Objective: The primary function of the Regional Service Technician is to provide direct support to all branches within the region. ### Position Duties & Responsibilities - Diagnose, isolate, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or software issues using systematic methods. - Follow manufacturers requirements in performing preventative maintenance - Operate and function test equipment to verify machine performance - Maintain meticulous logs of work orders, parts inventory, asset conditions, warranty and repair history. - Support, train, and guide shop technicians on service, safety and best practices. - Other duties as assigned. ### Requirements Education & Experience: - 5+ years of mechanic experience with IC engines, propane, electrical and hydraulic experience - High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired - Will need to provide mechanic’s tools of trade - Excellent trouble-shooting skills - Ability to prioritize work assignments - Ability to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignments - Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness - Working knowledge of equipment design and safety requirements - Prior floor care equipment experience strongly preferred - Ability to travel 50-75% - frequently requiring overnight stays - Ability to travel throughout the region as required - Excellent communication, organizational and change management abilities. - Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record history. - Must own and be able to effectively and safely use mechanic’s tools and equipment - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Base Pay Range: $29.77 - 40.94 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
