Additionally, demonstrate a collaborative spirit, knowing that we ‘Thrive together’ and support each other’s journeys.” ### Sterile Water & Steam Systems - Oversight of high-purity water generation and storage/distribution loops—Water for Injection (WFI), Purified Water (PW), Pure Steam Generators (PSG), and sterile Nitrogen/gas distribution. ### HVAC & Environmental Utilities - Support for cleanroom HVAC systems, dehumidifiers, chilled water/hot water flow balancing, and differential pressure regimes across classified zones (Grade A to D). - Energy Efficiency, Sustainability & Performance Metrics ### Energy Optimization (SEC) - Track record of lowering Specific Energy Consumption (SEC) through heat recovery systems, variable speed drives (VFDs), boiler efficiency improvement, and energy audits (ISO 50001 alignment). ### Plant Effectiveness & Reliability - Maximizing MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and minimizing MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) for all critical utility assets to guarantee zero unplanned downtime for sterile production blocks. ### Downtime Management - Strategic planning and execution of preventive, predictive (vibration, thermography, oil analysis), and breakdown maintenance schedules. - Regulatory Compliance, Safety & Statutory Approvals ### Statutory & Regulatory Standards - Ensuring strict compliance with Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR), Pollution Control Board (PCB/GPCB) norms, Factory Rules, and local safety authority guidelines. ### Pharma Audits & QMS - Full ownership of DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ validation, computerized system validation (CSV / 21 CFR Part 11) for utility PLC/SCADA, and facing global regulatory audits (USFDA, EU GMP, WHO-GMP). ### EHS & Boiler/Pressure Vessel Safety - Implementation of high safety standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, pressure vessel integrity testing, and chemical handling procedures. 5. Leadership, Budgeting & People Management ### Team Leadership - Directing, coaching, and upskilling a team of utility managers, shift engineers, boiler operators, and maintenance technicians. ### CAPEX & OPEX Budgeting - Managing annual utility operating budgets, fuel procurement strategies, spare parts inventory control, and executing utility infrastructure upgrade projects. ### Communication & Stakeholder Synergy - Strong cross-functional alignment with Site Manufacturing Heads, Quality Assurance, EHS, and executive leadership. Travel Estimate ### Job Requirements Educational Qualification B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering Experience Tenure: 15+ years in pharmaceutical plant utility management, with 5+ years leading large utility operations in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing site. 2.
