You will work closely with a cross-functional project team and collaborate with technology leaders across related platforms. In this role, you will design and implement new capabilities while maintaining, enhancing, and evolving our existing platform to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability. Stryker’s Sports Medicine business focuses on minimally invasive approaches for the shoulder, knee, hip, and small joints. Our goal is to help patients return to their normal lifestyle after injury, reflected in our motto, “motion regained, life renewed.” As we continue to grow, we are excited to expand our diverse team and foster an inclusive culture where collaboration, innovation, and professional growth are valued. ### Your key responsibilities Software System Development: Design and develop software solutions (C++ Windows desktop applications) in accordance with project requirements, established architecture, and quality standards. ### Continuous Improvement Identify and implement design, technical, and process improvements. Maintain and enhance the existing software platform. ### Development process Complement technical work with thorough documentation and take ownership of relevant documents and processes to support effective project execution and team success. ### Technical Contribution Drive and support product development across cross-functional teams, provide technical direction, and drive architectural decisions. Take technical ownership while fostering accountability for the delivery of high-quality solutions. ### Collaboration Collaborate effectively within international and cross-functional teams and partner with technical leaders across adjacent products and projects. What are we looking for? You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Ideally, you bring 3-5 years of professional experience in C++ software development, including experience with Qt, preferably within a regulated industry. You have hands-on experience with modern development tools and practices, including Visual Studio, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and issue tracking systems. You are experienced across the full software development life cycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, and verification & validation (V&V). You are a proactive, self-driven, and reliable team player who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is considered a plus. You communicate clearly and effectively and enjoy collaborating in an international, cross-functional environment. Diversity is important to us.
