YOUR ROLE ST is excited to welcome a Hardware and Software Design Intern at our ST office located in Santa Clara, CA. ### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Board development using PCB tools to create schematics and PCBs - Software development to communicate to hardware (microcontroller and power devices) YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES - Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field - Solid electronics background in: \- Analog, digital and power electronics (up to a few kW) \- Regulators (linear, switching, synchronous, negative, charge pump) \- DAC and ADC - Firmware/software programming experience (Python, C, C++) - Excellent debugging and problem solving skills - Experience with typical lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, waveform generators) - Reliable self-starter who can work autonomously - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Focused on delivering measurable results - Sense of urgency and can efficiently manage priorities At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base hourly rate range for this role is between $32 and $43 USD.
