## Job description

The Powertrain Senior Designer position is for a highly skilled and experienced designer for the Powertrain Design Services Group. The Primary responsibilities include performing packaging, concept, design, layout and checking related assemblies and components.

### Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Minimum
- 7 years design experience Extensive experience with NX parametric solid modeling and Teamcenter
- Strong written and oral communications to lead design and packaging meetings
- Strong organization, planning and data management skills PC Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

### Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or a technology related discipline Experience in the design of sheet metal, injection moldings, complex castings and precision machined components
- Ability to apply GD&T and perform component stacks
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
