## Job description

### Who we are looking for

Associate 1 Fund Accountant will be responsible for processing investment activity accounting entries, completing reconciliations, and preparing accurate and timely NAV packages and supporting schedules for alternative investment funds. This role requires adherence to strict deadlines, close attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and control.

### Why this role is important to us

The team you will be joining is part of Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS), a recognized provider of fund accounting and administration services to alternative investment clients. Our team provides end-to-end support for North American clients, with a focus on private equity, Fund of Fund and other complex investment structures. Our team supports key fund operations, including investment activity processing, valuation, NAV package production, and audit-related activities.

What you will be responsible for: As Associate 1 you will: Process investment activity accounting entries. Complete investment reconciliations and cash reconciliations. Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and other operational issues. Prepare NAV packages and support schedules accurately and timely. Execute key controls and promptly escalate identified issues. Demonstrate ownership of assigned funds and related processes.

Participate in system testing, automation, and process improvement activities when assigned.

### What we value

Basic understanding of accounting principles and fund structures. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Positive attitude, willingness to learn and openness to feedback.

### Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field. 6 months to 1 year r elated experience in a fund accounting environment.
