[Apply on Stanley Black & Decker’s careers site →](https://sbdinc.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/Stanley_Black_Decker_Career_Site/job/Warrington-Cheshire-England/Operator-I_REQ-1000052756) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Stanley Black & Decker](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/stanley-black-decker/) / Operator I ## Job description - Operate and monitor machines inline with production requirements. - Follow all Health and Safety procedures and use PPE correctly. - Inspect parts to ensure they meet good quality standards and specifications according to the feature charts. - Ability to understand engineering drawings and be confident using measuring equipment - Report all faults, defects and safety concerns - Maintain a clean and organised work area. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment (essential) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (essential) - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings. - Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control systems. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets. - Willing to learn and develop new skills - Reliable and punctual. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team to fault find.
