[Apply on Standard Chartered’s careers site →](https://jobs.standardchartered.com/job/Associate-Director-Analytics/63018-en_GB) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Standard Chartered](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/standard-chartered/) / Associate Director - Analytics ## Job description ### Job Summary - Partnering with senior business stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, solve strategic business challenges, and drive commercial outcomes through analytics and data-driven decision making - Act as a trusted advisor to segment, product, sales, and digital teams, translating business priorities into actionable analytics solutions that improve client acquisition, engagement, deepening, retention, and profitability ### Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary analytics consultant for designated business portfolios (Affluent, Wealth, Deposits, SME, Liabilities, Digital, etc.). - Shape strategy through data, customer insights, and performance diagnostics. - Challenge existing assumptions and identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, customer experience, and productivity - Present recommendations and business cases to senior leadership forums. - Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, efficient and robust data management. ### Motivations - Owning end-to-end outcomes and seeing ideas implemented at scale. - Working on high-visibility, business-critical initiatives. - Having autonomy to challenge conventional thinking and propose new solutions. - Creating innovative, scalable solutions rather than repetitive BAU reporting. - Being part of a highly skilled team of business consultants with good educational qualifications, domain expertise and technical skills. ### Skills and Experience Must-have Skills - Technical Skills – SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau, MSTR, Power BI etc - Data-driven Decision Making - Stakeholder Management & Influencing ### Other Skills - Domain knowledge – banking, liabilities, wealth, assets, SME etc - Presentation skills, storytelling Qualifications Key Experiences - 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in banking/fintechs. ### Certifications/Qualifications - Candidates passed out of ISI / IIT / IIM etc. premier institutes - Candidates with a Master’s degree in the fields of Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, MBA Languages - SAS, SQL, Python etc About Standard Chartered We're an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
