Some 20,000 financial services and healthcare organizations, from the world's largest companies to small and mid-market firms, rely on SS&C for expertise, scale, and technology. ### Job Description Associate Director - US Tax 1065 SS&C GlobeOp Financial Services, US MNC www.ssctech.com Afternoon Shift Location – Bangalore/ Hyderabad JOB DESCRIPTION: - Ensure team operates effectively and within SS&C guidelines and standards Responsible for assigned client deliverables; Assist SVP in setting departmental policies, procedures and standards; Maintain and monitor all policies, procedures and standards; Act as technical and knowledge resource to the business unit; Participate in review of assigned tax deliverables; Allocate client deliverable across staff levels - Monitor staff timesheet and weekly workload - Document and maintain a file of all tax-related issues, resolutions, positions and methodologies by fund. Set up and attend meetings with accounting group to identify key issues, increase knowledge of fund accounting, and increase efficiencies of the information flow process. - Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business ### Enhance Staff Development - Train all staff in relevant tax matters; Control and comments on staff performance reviews - Manage day to day activities and supervise tax staff ### Planning and New Fund Setup - Oversee implementation and assignment of new clients; Assist SVP with review of offering documents and partnership agreements in conjunction with counsel. Assist SVP with value-added services and consultation of high-level tax matters. - Maintain High-Quality Communications Ensure Internal and External Communications are timely and of High-Quality - Monitor quality assurance - Promote positive Company image in all internal and external communications; Perform timely and regular reporting to SVP and other members of senior management; Communicate with clients and accounting firms on a regular basis and document any relevant matters.
