[Apply on Southern Company’s careers site →](https://emje.fa.us6.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1001/job/21916) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Southern Company](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/southern-company/) / Materials Supervisor - Plant Vogtle 1&2 ## Job description ### GRADE LEVEL Exempt 06 ### JOB SUMMARY The Materials Supervisor directs warehouse personnel and manages inventories to provide parts and materials as needed to support safe and efficient nuclear power plant operation and maintenance, in compliance with quality assurance requirements. ### JOB REQUIREMENTS Education - High School diploma required - Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field preferred Experience At least five years of nuclear power plant experience required Working knowledge of Supply Chain policies, procedures, practices, and quality assurance requirement highly desired; plant operations, planning and maintenance practices preferred Thorough knowledge of Maximo Supply Chain and Work Management processes, Microsoft Office, and Oracle preferred - Excellent communication skills - Knowledge and Skills This team member must have leadership skills to improve efficiencies, enhance standard processes and increase the value of the sites as an asset to the Southern Company and its stockholders - Maintain a thorough, demonstrated commitment to personal integrity and ethical business operations Hold self and others accountable for outstanding results;
