[Apply on Southern Company’s careers site →](https://emje.fa.us6.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1001/job/21950) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Southern Company](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/southern-company/) / Profitability & Economic Analysis Analyst ## Job description Profitability & Economic Analysis Analyst Alabama Power Company – Customer Solutions This position will be located at APC Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL ### JOB SUMMARY The Profitability & Economic Analysis Analyst is responsible for economic modeling, margin analysis, and pricing evaluations that support strategic customer programs, large-load and special contract opportunities, regulatory filings, and long-term planning. The candidate must be able to understand, interpret, and apply economic concepts, as well as communicate results to peers and management for the purpose of facilitating the decision-making processes.
