## Job description

### DUTIES
- Help to manage the plannning and the coordination of the Data Engineering Team
- Support the coordination of the activities with Suppliers
- Support troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Actively participate to meetings and produce minutes, send reminders to activity owners
- Understand and contribute to define solutions to satisfy the requirements, requests, and needs of Data Management & Analytics Team
- Support the design of data solutions, defining effort, costs, governance and compliance with Data Management Policy and Privacy regulation
- Support to define, develop, test and release ETLs, Data Integration, jobs and procedures of data updates of the local

### DWH and Datamarts
- Document all new developments or changes, making the documentation available in the defined repository
- Interfacing and collaborating with various stakeholders and suppliers
- Ensure development cycle complies with project phases, and all stakeholders are updated
- Collaborate with other Depts to ensure information accessibility and data quality
- Contribute to the analysis of business processes that generate data acquisition, identifying any critical issues and areas for improvement
- Promptly report any actual or potential data risks, such as breaches, quality impacts, loss of relevant info, data viz displaying misleading info etc.

### KEY SKILL AREAS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Deep Azure services knowledge including compute, networking, storage and databases
- Good ability to manage

### Azure DevOps and CI/CD
- Proficiency in Azure Synapse and Databriks
- Strong knowledge of advanced scripting in Powershell, Python and Bash
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, in particular PowerBI
- Basics of Microsoft PowerAutomate
- Proficiency in SQL in its various versions
- Strong knowledge of databases
- Good knowledge of SQL Server
- Understanding and ability to manage ETLs
- Good knowledge of Data modeling and Architectures
- Good understanding of Big Data context and technologies
- Basic Security skills
