WELCOME TO YOUR NEW CAREER! 2nd/3rd Shift Smurfit Westrock Bedford Park is looking for Machine Operator’s for 2nd and/or 3rd shift. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career by gaining on the job skills and experience, while earning a paycheck. ### The Opportunity Production Team Member Starting Pay: $23.28/hr The Benefits: BENEFIT ELIGIBILITY BEGINS DAY 1 Quarterly Bonus Pay-Out’s (if eligible) Tuition Reimbursement Health / Dental / Vision 401k - 100% Match up to 5% Paid Vacation after 30 days of Employment 10 Paid Holidays / year Responsibiliti es: - Ability to work safely, comply with all safety rules. - Inspect. Identify, and correct quality concerns. - Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16" measurement, do basic math, and some computer skills). - Ability to learn and apply job related skills. ### What You Need to Succeed - Strong communication and listening skills. - Ability to lift, push/pull >50lbs; navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel for 8 or more hours. - Ability to work a standard 8 hour shift up to six days a week with the flexibility of working over-time during the week to cover open positions. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The starting rate is $23.28 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
