Translate customer, business and operational requirements into end-to-end technical solutions and architecture. Define and maintain the platform target architecture and technology roadmap. Evaluate solution options and vendor proposals based on capability, architecture, scalability, resilience, security, maintainability and TCO. Lead technical and design reviews and challenge vendor recommendations where appropriate. Ensure solutions comply with Singtel architecture, cybersecurity and engineering standards. Identify architectural risks, technical debt and opportunities for simplification and modernization. Drive adoption of API-first, automation-first and reusable integration approaches. Explore AI-assisted diagnostics, automation and analytics capabilities to evolve Home Service Assurance from reactive towards proactive/predictive operations. Provide technical leadership to Delivery Engineers, Operations teams and vendors through design, build, integration, testing and production implementation. Maintain appropriate platform lifecycle, EOS/EOSL and technology refresh planning. Ensure operational readiness, resilience, DR and supportability are incorporated into solution designs. Provide technical leadership during major incidents where architecture or complex cross-system issues require escalation. Coach engineers and strengthen SCE's internal architecture, solutioning and engineering capabilities. ### Skills for Success Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, infrastructure engineering. Strong solution architecture and end-to-end technical design experience. Strong understanding of servers/compute, database, middleware, storage, network and data-centre infrastructure. Experience coordinating application and infrastructure integration. Experience challenging and governing vendor technical designs. Knowledge of HA/DR, cybersecurity, performance, capacity and resilience design. Ability to operate across architecture, engineering, project delivery and operations. Strong understanding of IT service operations, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management. Solid working knowledge of application platforms, servers, networks, and storage in production environments. Ability to translate technical issues into business, customer, and service impact. Strong leadership, ownership, and accountability mindset Sound stakeholder management skills across business, technology, and external vendors.
