## Job description

Build customer-facing messaging and notification solutions used across SEB — with modern Java, Angular, and AI as part of daily engineering. As part of the Digital Interaction team, you will primarily focus on back-end services, APIs, and event-driven integrations, while also contributing to front-end interfaces when needed. You will be encouraged to use tools such as GitHub Copilot responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and automation.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have: 2+ years of experience as a back-end or full-stack developer, with strong knowledge of Java. Working knowledge of Angular and Spring. Experience with databases and RESTful APIs; familiarity with event streaming such as Kafka is a plus. Practical use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, and interest in exploring agent-based coding workflows responsibly in a secure banking environment.

Knowledge of security best practices in software development. Team spirit and care for maintainable high-quality solutions.

### What we offer

Innovation time: Up to 20% of your time is dedicated to learning, experimenting, and modernising our solutions.

### Real engineering ownership

Contribute to technical decisions, refactoring, automation, and continuous improvement — not only feature delivery.

### Impactful work

Develop messaging and notification solutions that support customer communication across SEB.

### Collaborative environment

Work in a team that values open discussions, practical feedback, and continuous improvement. Do you want to be a part of SEB? Welcome to our inclusive culture, where our shared values inspire and uplift our team. We celebrate diversity and strive to ensure every employee feels seen, heard, and valued. We are looking forward to your application by November 4th, 2026. Since we select candidates continuously, feel free to send in your application before the deadline.
