[Apply on Schneider Electric’s careers site →](https://careers-se.icims.com/jobs/113306/login) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Schneider Electric](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/schneider-electric/) / SERE Manager ## Job description Join our dynamic team as an SERE Manager and make a meaningful impact on workplace safety and environmental sustainability! ### Location Zalaegerszeg, Hungary Your responsibilities - Set up and monitor an ongoing and dynamic approach to Environment/Health & Safety Manage H&S issues and improvement plans, deploy H&S standards in plant - Promote and assist the management in the development and application of prevention program in plant, Monitor regulatory changes within his/her plant, Guarantee to the plant manager compliance to regulations in the field of Health, Safety, Environment, Energy and Facility Management, Put in place & pilot contingency plan in case of emergency, Deploy & pilot the professional risk assessment, Deploy & pilot the environmental analysis and energy review with associated risks, Define, implement, and follow up energy reduction actions according to SE guidelines, Ensure full compliance with regulations on site-level, Propose targets, action plan & resources according to SE guidelines, ensure follow-up, Point of contact for local & national health care, environment authorities and other stakeholders, Deploy SERE methodologies, best practices & improve SERE skills of employees, Manage the procurement, cost follow-up and productivity actions for PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), Define technical specification & follow up contract with suppliers. ### Requirements University diploma acquired in Environmental Engineering and Safety Engineering (or comparable engineering degree), Specialized Fire Protection qualification, 8+ years of experience in SERE leadership, management role, Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Proficient level of English language knowledge (C1), Excellent communication skills, High level of influencing and persuasion skills, Proactive problem resolution skills and result-oriented approach. ### Our offer Professional challenges and development opportunities International career opportunities Competitive compensation and benefits package Company car Life and accident insurance Medicover health care (White card) Global Family Leave Program What's in it for you: Opportunity to drive meaningful change in workplace safety and environmental sustainability - Lead strategic initiatives that directly impact employee well-being and environmental performance - Build valuable partnerships with internal and external stakeholders - Develop expertise in emerging environmental technologies and safety methodologies - Make a lasting positive impact on both the organization and broader community Let us learn about you!
