As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities. ### Your Key Responsibilities - Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information - Check production status within and in between each production sequence and taking action in case of deviations - Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes - Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol - Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines - Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times ### Your Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED equivalent - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English - Ability to operate medium complex machinery in a manufacturing environment Good visual acuity - Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship Preferred - Minimum of one (1) year of experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment Experience working with power tools - Ability to read Blueprints Our Offering Starting wages: $22.55 per hour 2nd and 3rd shift premium available Medical, dental and vision insurance Life insurance and 401k eligible with up to 6% company match Please see all our benefit offerings at Schaeffler Benefits As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
