## Job description

### Job title

Head of Access Strategy Location: Tokyo HQ About the job Purpose of the role: Responsible for a team strategizing and developing Integrated Access Strategy, including data generation to maximize Access, at all stages of Sanofi Japan’s pipeline/inline products in alignment with Global Strategy for the Japanese Market.

Specific requirements and responsibilities include:
- Leading a team to Strategize and Develop Access Strategy maximizing the value of our pipeline/inline products in alignment with local commercial, R&D, Regulatory teams, Medical teams and Global Market Access Team.
- Understanding of the local access environment and being able to explain to local and global teams
- Understanding of Global Access and HEVA Strategy
- Local environment analysis and identification of gap vs global
- Alignment with local Commercial, R&D, Regulatory and Medical team as well as Global Team on mid to long-term strategy
- Identify and agree on key milestones including competitors’ timeline as well as global key markets timeline
- Identification of Data Gap and Data Generation Planning and Execution
- Analyze data needs from the perspective of maximizing access and reimbursement (volume/sales)
- Data Generation Planning and Execution in alignment with local Commercial and Medical Teams as well as Global Team About you Special Knowledge & Qualifications
- Business Level communication, negotiation and presentation skill in both

### English and Japanese
- Wide knowledge and understanding of the Japan and other key markets healthcare and reimbursement
- Wide scientific understanding of therapeutic areas, epidemiology and HTA process
- Project Management Skill
- Over 5-year experience in the pharmaceutical industry

### Competencies
- Logical + Forward-thinking and strong strategic acumen
- Financial acumen
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills in Japanese and English
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, MBA preferred Pursue progress, discover extraordinary Better is out there. Better medications, better outcomes, better science.
