## Job description

### Accounting Supervisor Position Summary

The new colleague will support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (US-GAAP). The role involves assisting in month-end closing procedures, reconciliations, and supporting the senior management team with analysis.

### Key Responsibilities and Duties

Financial Reporting & Closing: Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

### General Ledger Management

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate booking of transactions.

### Reconciliations

Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.

### Tax Compliance

Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns and other mandatory tax declarations.

### Audit Support

Provide necessary documentation and support to internal and external auditors during the year-end audit process.

### Process Improvement

Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within the accounting department and assist in implementing internal controls.

### Ad-hoc Analysis

Prepare financial reports and analysis as requested by senior management.

### Required Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

### Experience

3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a multinational environment.

### Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Navision).

### Knowledge

Solid understanding of accounting principles (preferably US-GAAP), local GAAP, and tax regulations.

### Language Skills

Fluent English (written and spoken)

### Competencies

Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to meet strict deadlines
