[Apply on Safran’s careers site →](https://careers.safran-group.com/job/job-operator-hdf-2nd-shift-1-25-per-hour-shift-premium_186645.aspx?LCID=1033) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Safran](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/safran/) / Operator HDF 2nd shift $1.25 per hour shift premium ## Job description ### Job Summary Constructs aircraft structure parts by laying-up resin infused carbon fiber in a sequence prior to processing in an autoclave as described on engineering drawings and company specifications. ### Summary of Duties - Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders - Documents the materials used in the process to maintain traceability including out times of cold stored materials. - Builds structural components via vacuum bagging using resin systems with carbon fiber reinforcements, - Properly identifies and communicate defects in tooling. - Meet takt times while maintaining specified level of quality - Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process. ### General Notes - Must carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling. - All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of C&D products. - As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future. - Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.
