[Apply on Safran’s careers site →](https://careers.safran-group.com/job/job-airframer-support-engineer_183986.aspx?LCID=1033) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Safran](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/safran/) / Airframer Support Engineer ## Job description ### Description of the mission - The Airframer Support Engineer is the Airframer focal point for all technical issues and Support activity planning in the Final Assembly Line (FAL), Flight Line and Delivery Center, related to the production Integrated Propulsive Systems (IPS). - He/she organizes all IPS Support activities (Human Resources, Hardware, Documentation) - He/she manages IPS rework keeping in mind Planning objective given by the Air Framer for grounded aircraft, and On Time Delivery - He/she acts as the Integrated Propulsive System technical interface of the Technicians team dedicated to the Production aircraft he/she oversees. - He/she is involved in the different test phases and aircraft reception by the Air Framer. - He/she manages troubleshooting tasks linked to Engineering - He/she manages Failure and Rejection Reports (FRR) answers to Airframer, in relation to Program and Customer Quality - He/she makes sure that all technical and quality issues are reported, analyzed and solved in relation to the Safran Aircraft Engines, Nexcelle and GE Back Offices. ### Contact - He/she reports to the FAL Support Manager. - He/she is the key interface of the Air Framer and of the Back office for all technical questions - Work schedule: Full time Status: Engineer Type of Contract: Permanent position with a local contract Candidate profile: You have work experience in engine technical assistance for an Air Framer or you have been in charge of Customer - Support activities working for an Airline. - You have acquired knowledge of aircraft or engine maintenance in commercial aeronautic sector. Through your work experience, you have demonstrated: - Strong autonomy and ownership - Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - Adaptability in a fast-paced operational environment - Ability to remain effective under time constraints and operational pressure - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Team spirit and customer-oriented mindset The successful candidate shall be comfortable working in a dynamic production environment where priorities may evolve according to aircraft delivery schedules, technical events and customer requirements Specificities of the mission: The position operates in a highly collaborative and dynamic production environment involving multiple stakeholders (Airframer, Engineering, Program, Quality, Supply Chain and Shop teams). Priorities may evolve according to aircraft delivery schedules, technical findings and customer requests. The successful candidate must be comfortable managing changing priorities while maintaining focus on safety, quality and delivery objectives. ### In this context - The Airframer Support Engineer (ASE) is responsible for coordinating all engine technical interventions to be performed on aircraft, in close coordination with the Airframer and the back-office teams on all technical matters. He/she shall respond to Airframer requests within agreed timeframes to minimize aircraft downtime. - The role requires frequent interactions with production teams, customers and engineering teams. Therefore, a strong interest in operational support activities, stakeholder coordination and collaborative problem-solving is essential. He/she will be based in Shanghai.
