## Job description

Disassembly Supervisor (D Supervisor or DSup) as a part of Oerations function will manage and coordinate the disassembly process for specific modules to enhance operational efficiency and quality. This role will act as a project management function, interfacing between Operations and Engineering departments. Eventually, the person will gain expertise in both these domains. Highlights
- DSupervisors are polyvalent, acquiring a deeper understanding of Gate 1 challenges and the interface between different departments.
- Minimal position at the C2 level, reflecting increased responsibility.
- The role provides a career path towards Engineering positions or supervisory roles within production teams.
- The DSupervisor is assigned to a specific disassembly process, like inspectors who are module-specific. Main Responsibilities are as below-
- Participation in Gate 0 o Actively participate in Gate 0 activities, contributing to Shop Visit Management and providing expertise on risk analysis & mitigation.
- Project Management
- Oversee the flow of parts post-disassembly (e.g., G1B, Check Inspection, PNR, expendables, etc.).
- Anticipate Gate 3 requirements and raise requirement for parts in advance (based on configuration).
- Technical Understanding
- Demonstrate proficiency in workflow documentation (Service Orders 1 & 2) for the assigned module.
- Liaise with Engineering to establish and maintain accurate Gate 1 documentation.
- Shop Floor/Bay Support
- Post G1A release of documentation and part flow management.
- Provide technical support for deviations, acting as the link between the bay and Technical Support/Engineering.
- Assist the bay with inspection tasks.
- Coordination and Communication
- Work closely with Line/Gate Managers to ensure proper alignment and integration of activities.
- Provide regular updates to Line/Gate Managers on the progress of work.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and inspection.
- Problem Solving
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical and operational challenges swiftly and effectively.

- Effective communication and cross-functional coordination
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with multiple departments
- Inspection category assigned at the right level to perform and validate inspections
