The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ …), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. More than a 100 airlines, lessors, private aircraft operators and MRO partners have entrusted their engines to our company. We employ over 500 highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic employees. As part of our growth (RAMP UP) of LEAP engines, we are looking for Repair/CNC Operator to strengthen our teams. As experienced CNC machine operator, you will oversee our computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines. You will be responsible for ensuring machining of subassembly, quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawings dimensions. ### Your Role - Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various tasks, including drilling, grinding, and milling. - Ensure CNC machines operate in compliance with company guidelines and safety standards. - Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments to optimize results. - Inspect machinery daily to ensure proper functionality. - Record all machine activities by completing production and quality logs. - Provide accurate timelines and updates to clients. - Communicate with the Methods Department regarding any issues encountered during machining. - Ensure that machining results meet the defined work scope and quality expectations. - Conduct regular assessments and maintenance of CNC machines. ### Our offer We offer an attractive salary package, complemented by various benefits: - Monthly gross salary (+ shift premium) - Meal vouchers - Days reduction working time - End of year bonus - Holiday allowance - Hospital insurance and Pension plan insurance - Eco-checks, Gift vouchers and Benefits at Work You can also count on support throughout your career and appropriate theoretical and practical training, and all this in a stimulating and international environment with career opportunities. ### Your Profile - High school diploma or equivalent qualification required. - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC machine operator. - Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings. - Strong mechanical aptitude. - Excellent attention to detail and a goal-oriented attitude. - Strong comprehension and analytical skills. - Knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques in the industry. - Good computer skills. Willingness to work in a two shift system (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00) Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit.
