With our fleet of 640+ aircraft, including the new Boeing 737-8200 'Gamechanger' and 300 Boeing 737 MAX 10 on order, this is an excellent time to join our team, advance your career and join Europe's leading airline. ### About the role AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for experienced B1 Licensed Engineers to be based at Leeds Bradford Airport working 2D2N (2 days, 2 nights) shift pattern, in partnership with our client Ryanair, Europe's largest airline. Responsibilities – Reporting to the Engineering Shift Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability and performance across the Line Maintenance operation. Duties will include: - Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 Fleet. - Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery. - Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Trainees assigned to their team. - Ensuring maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with the approved procedures and regulatory requirements, including the promotion of a strong safety and compliance culture. ### Requirements About You: We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will work without direct supervision and be able to demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast-changing environment. You will have proven Line Maintenance experience, strong technical knowledge of the Boeing 737 and the ability to supervise a team effectively in a time sensitive operation. You should be comfortable working independently, making sound decisions under pressure and adapting to changing operational priorities. What ### We’re Looking For Qualifications and Experience: - Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential). - UK CAA Part-66 B1 Licence holder with Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement & Recency (Essential). - EASA Part-66 B1 Licence holder with Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable) - Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement (Desirable – Type Courses Available). - Airbus A320 (CFM56 & IAE V2500) Type Endorsement (Desirable) - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential). - Good IT Literacy (Essential), with AMOS Experience (Desirable). - All applicants must have unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and hold a Full UK Driving Licence. ### Benefits Why Join AES? ✅ Career development and training opportunities ✅ Supportive, team-oriented working environment ✅ Stable, long-term employment Ready for Take-Off? ✈️ Apply today and become part of a industry leading team that keeps aircraft operating safely and efficiently If you are a B1 Licensed Engineer and feel that you can deliver in this exciting hands-on role with Ryanair, then we want to hear from you!
