Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role involves defining long-term ATE roadmaps, architecting scalable hardware/software testing platforms, and leading cross-functional collaborations across Product, Quality, Design, and Validation engineering. You will be responsible for driving test strategy from initial product definition through global production release, ensuring our high-performance AI power solutions meet world-class quality and reliability standards. ### Key Responsibilities Strategic Test Roadmaps: Define and execute the technical strategy for next generation ATE test solutions to support critical NPI, quality, and capability initiatives. ### Architectural & Platforms Leadership Design, implement, and govern standardized baseline software frameworks and advanced hardware architectures to scale capability and efficiency across the global test organization. ### Comprehensive Quality Planning Lead organizational quality planning, executing rigorous hardware/software architectural reviews, and establishing design-for-test (DFT) guidelines for complex multi-die and power module products. ### Product Lifecycle Ownership Spearhead product qualification, characterization, and cross-platform correlation strategies for cutting-edge power delivery technologies. ### Cross-Functional & Operations Sync Partner with senior leadership in Product Engineering, Design, and Operations to orchestrate seamless, zero-friction production ramps and global manufacturing releases. ### Sustaining Execution & Yield Optimization Provide executive-level technical oversight for complex production yield optimization, cost reduction, and high-priority customer return resolution strategies. ### Technical Mentorship & Governance Serve as a primary mentor to Staff, Senior, and Junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and rigorous engineering practices. ### Ecosystem & Vendor Management Strategically manage 3rd party relationships, foundry partnerships, and OSAT technical teams to ensure alignment with Renesas' roadmap and delivery milestones. ## Qualifications ### Education & Experience Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of progressive semiconductor experience (or Master's/Ph.D. with 8+ years), with a proven track record operating at a Staff or Senior Staff level. ### ATE Mastery 10+ years of extensive experience architecting and developing automated test solutions on high-end ATE platforms, with deep expertise in platforms like the Advantest V93K, COHU Diamondx, SPEA DOT800, or ETS364. ### Mixed-Signal & Power Expertise 8+ years of hands-on experience in ATE test development for complex analog, digital, high-power, and mixed-signal ICs.
