## Job description

### Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site Sales Trainee role located in Savannah, GA. As a Sales Trainee at Chatham Steel Corporation, you will be responsible for assisting the sales team with various tasks, including order processing, customer inquiries, and providing support to the sales representatives. You will have the opportunity to learn about the steel industry, develop customer service and sales skills, and contribute to the growth of the company.

Physical Requirements Walk(Move, Traverse), Stand or Sit(Stationary position), Use hand/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position), Talk/hear(Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information), See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess), Reaching, Repetitive Motion Function in the Job Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Job Function Learns the business by rotating through different areas within the company. Observes the sales process by assisting sales representatives in acquiring new business. Manage special inventory of contract customers. Responsible for generating sales through callouts and internet prospecting.

### Required Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Customer service-oriented mindset High school diploma or equivalent Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
