A warehouse material handler safely receives, stores, moves, and ships materials to support daily warehouse operations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, pulling customer orders, operating material-handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety and quality standards. Physical Requirements Stand or Sit(Stationary position), Walk(Move, Traverse), Use hand/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position), Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Talk/hear(Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information), See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess), Repetitive Motion, Reaching, Pushing or Pulling, Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl(Position self(to), Move) Function in the Job Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Job Function Responsible for moving inventory or equipment, filling customer orders, pulling material from racks, unloading incoming material, loading trucks and/or customer vehicles, & helping maintain the upkeep of the warehouse. Receives, places/returns items into stock inventory locations, and restocks material. Pulls and assembles orders based on reviewing work/shipping orders or other documentation. Tags material for proper identification and completes all required documentation. Moves material from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas using forklift, side loader, or crane. Operates yard truck for the purpose of loading and unloading trailers. Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Sorts and places material on rack, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code. Spot checks on inventory, completes daily and/or ad hoc checks for proper tagging of material, as directed. Reports any irregularities to supervisor for direction. Responsible for adhering to/ensuring compliance with applicable safety and quality standards. ### Required Skills 1-2 years of relevant experience within related fields such as warehousing and material handling required. Ability to show adequate manual dexterity, finger dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and limb coordination. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions as applied to work situations. Basic measurement skills, including taking, converting, and/or using measurements of length, width, height, and weight to perform basic math computations correctly. Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions. Clear oral and written communication skills. Compensation Range The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $28.07/Hr. - USD $29.57/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location. EEO Statement Reliance, Inc.
