## Job description

### POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Data Engineering Operations Manager/Sr Manager to lead our data engineering operations team, consisting of both internal and external resources. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, optimization, and governance of our analytics data landscape. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise in data engineering, and a proven track record of managing operations for complex analytics organizations.

## Qualifications

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Strong proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies, including but not limited to data warehouses, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and big data technologies (e.g., Databricks, Spark, Hive etc). Strong knowledge and experience of ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders and drive consensus on important decisions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, SAFE, ITIL) are highly desirable.
