Rakuten Travel is one of the leading online travel agencies in Japan. Since 2001, the service offers Japan’s broadest selection of local travel accommodation listings. With 20 offices in 14 countries and regions, Rakuten Travel is rapidly expanding its international operations and is viewable in 7 languages (English, Japanese, French, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Korean, Thai and Bahasa Indonesian). It is part of the Rakuten group which operates more than 70 businesses span e-commerce, digital content, communications and fintech with almost 1.3 billion members across the world.

As an Internet Travel Consultant at Rakuten Travel, the incumbent is responsible for growing inbound travel demand by optimizing hotel partners’ online sales performance, developing targeted accommodation strategies, and strengthening long-term partnerships through data-driven and consultative engagement.

### Responsibilities
- Manage inbound travel initiatives from Japan by supporting hotel partnerships and promoting properties to the Japanese market
- Conduct performance analysis and provide insights for partners (primarily hotel partners)
- Advise partners to drive mutually beneficial (“win-win”) outcomes and improve online sales performance
- Develop and curate accommodation packages and promotional plans
- Support the creation and execution of customized online pages and campaigns
- Drive business development efforts to increase advertising revenue from partners
- Provide customer service and operational support to local partners
- Handle additional ad hoc tasks as required Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry or a related field Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multicultural environment, with a proven track record of delivering strong results
- Demonstrated self-motivation, resilience, and consistent performance in the travel or related industry
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and proactively drive partnership opportunities
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to think strategically and assess long-term business potential
