The ideal candidate is also an AI enthusiast, capable of leveraging AI to accelerate and enhance development. ### Your mission at RBI - Develop, improve, and maintain backend systems using Java and Go within a Kubernetes environment Utilize AI technologies to speed up feature development; create prototypes and proposals for solution migrations Design APIs, event-driven architectures, and event schemas - Work with event streaming and event sourcing (Apache Pulsar) - Implement microservices and Functions as a Service (FaaS) Automate integration, testing, and deployment processes using declarative GitOps (ArgoCD) - Collaborate in requirements analysis; support Product Owners by clarifying system capabilities and constraints - Operate within an international agile team alongside business analysts, frontend developers, testers, and DevOps Your core competencies: Several years of experience in software development Good knowledge of Java and Go Adaptability and strong interest to integrate AI with various projects - Ability to present prototypes or concepts to senior management Pro-active, creative attitude and team orientation - Excellent communication skill Structured working approach and problem solving skills Very good command of English (mandatory), German is a plus What´s in it for you: Global community: 75+ nationalities, English as the company language, and work permit support. The actual salary is typically higher and will be determined individually based on your qualifications, professional experience, and the specific requirements of the role.
