Just content that works, working a lot harder. ### Overview Title: Senior Designer Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Reporting to: Creative Director The role will collaborate closely with the Creative Director to develop and execute creative projects across a range of platforms. This role is crucial in producing high-quality and cohesive design work that adheres to brand standards. The successful candidate will work with a talented team of designers, multimedia editors and writers, contributing to a creative environment that emphasizes innovation, craft excellence and impactful visual storytelling. ### Responsibilities CREATIVE COLLABORATION: Work in partnership with the Art Directors & Creative Directors to develop and execute creative concepts that are fit-for-platform. Collaborate with designers, copywriters, editors and other team members to ensure cohesive and high-quality deliverables. ### ART DIRECTION Reporting to the Creative Director, you will translate creative requirements into visually striking and brand-consistent design solutions. Support the Art Director & Creative Director in developing creative assets that align with the client's and global lead agency’s vision and objectives. Translate Globally developed campaigns into market relevant executions DESIGN EXECUTION: Produce compelling designs and storyboards for a variety of media, including digital, print, social and multimedia. Ensure all creative work is executed on-brand and to the high standards expected by Publicis Production. ### PROJECT MANAGEMENT Self-manage multiple projects, timelines and priorities efficiently. Liaise with the Art Director to present design solutions, gather feedback and make necessary adjustments on projects. ### INNOVATION AND TRENDS Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ideas into projects. Contribute to a culture of creativity, collaboration and innovation within the team. ### QUALITY ASSURANCE Review, receive and implement feedback from the Art Director on projects to maintain quality and consistency. Ensure final creative products meet client expectations and brand standards. ### Qualifications Proven experience in a senior designer or similar design role within an advertising agency or creative environment. Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital, print, social and multimedia design. Excellent design, communication and collaborative skills. Advanced proficiency in relevant creative tools and software, including Adobe Creative Cloud. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for innovation, craft excellence and staying current with industry trends. ### Skills This role requires a strong conceptual thinker with the ability to translate creative direction into compelling design solutions while balancing client needs and brand objectives. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, strong craft skills and a passion for creative excellence. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial, as the Senior Designer will navigate multiple projects, evolving briefs and dynamic market conditions.
