The role is within the Risk Compliance Security Unit, reporting to the Group Director – Head of Group Risk Assurance & Data Analytics COE As a Data Analyst at Prudential, you will be responsible for managing, analysing, and reporting data to help in decision-making processes. You will play a pivotal role in interpreting data, analysing results, and providing ongoing reports. Your insights will directly support business strategies and initiatives. ### Responsibilities Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency. Develop automated data cleaning scripts and workflows to streamline data preparation. Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Tableau Translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations for stakeholders across the business. Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover risk trends and patterns. Support internal audits and assurance reviews with data-driven evidence and reporting. Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner. ### Requirements Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development. Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, SQL, etc.) to draw insights from large data sets. Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks. Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
